But joy comes in the morning."

Beauty at the end of the road
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests
be made known to God. And the peace of God, which
surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 4:6-7)
The days prior had been full of unexpected frustrations, and I was so absorbed by my thoughts that I made a wrong turn on my way home from an appointment. Maybe it wasn't such a wrong turn after all though, because it dead ended at this beautiful spot I never knew existed.

The Color Red
"Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as
white as snow; though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool."
(Isaiah 1:18)
I needed something red to take a picture of for my 365Project word challenge, and this is what I found in the floral department of our local Giant supermarket. They always have such lovely displays...
...but this was my favorite shot, and the one that made me think of the Scripture verse at the top of the page.
