"I will lift up my eyes to the hills--
From whence comes my help? My
help comes from the LORD, Who
made heaven and earth."
(Psalm 121:1-2)
This was the sight that greeted me as I waked out of church a couple of Sundays ago. For a moment I felt disoriented. I couldn't remember there being a view of mountains on that side of town. It turned out to be a cloud, but it took a while before I felt sure my memory wasn't failing me.

View through a stained glass window
"...we can see and understand only a little about God now,
as if we are peering at his reflection in a poor mirror; but
someday we are going to see him in his completeness, face
to face. Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then
I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees
into my heart right now." -- (1 Corinthians 13:12 TLB)
Views of the setting sun...
...the lamppost in the parking lot...
...and reflections on the walls.
