"Count your blessings, name them one by one,
and it will surprise you what the Lord has done."
(Johnson Oatman, Jr.)
These lines from the old hymn popped into my mind as I tried out my new camera phone which I'd almost given up on ever being able to purchase. I'm amazed at how much sharper the pictures are than the ones from my regular camera, and how much more vivid the colors are too.
"God creates the beauty. My camera and I are a witness." - (Mark Denman)

A beautiful day to be out and about
"An early morning walk is a blessing for the
whole day." -- Henry David Thoreau
After a long bout of using bad weather and the loss of my walking partner as excuses to stay in, I grabbed my camera and went for a long walk. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the sky was as blue as a sky can be.
On my way downtown, a leprechaun smiled through a store window at me, and I stopped to take his picture.
There were lots of people out and about, and some brisk business seemed to be going on at the Trail's End Cycling Company's store.
From there I took the the bike path home, after first checking out the town's time capsule, and taking some shots of the old train station.
