Maple Avenue -- Spring 2013

Just a few favorites from an April walk along Maple Avenue. There were so many beautiful yards and trees and flowers I had a very hard time chosing which shots to include in this post.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD CRITTERS

"The flowers appear on the earth; The time
of the singing of birds is come, And the voice
of the turtle-dove is heard in our land."

Spring has not only brought out the flowers, but an abundance of baby birds, bunnies, and squirrels too.

Such a pretty time of year when everything seems to be coming alive.

FLOWERS AROUND TOWN -- 2013

"So why do you worry about clothing? 
Consider the lilies of the field, how they 
grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet
I say to you that even Solomon in all his
glory was not arrayed like one of these."

The flowers around town have been so beautiful this spring, and they seem to have managed to stay in bloom much longer than usual.  I marvel at how they are still looking as lovely as ever.
