Despite all the media alerts, the sky was so clear on the eve of the storm, I had a hard time believing it would really hit us, but it did.
Winter storm Jonas turned out to be a blizzard of epic proportions, rightly nicknamed "Snowzilla," that dumped 36 inches of snow on us before moving on.
Much as I would have loved to take my camera out for a photo op, a fractured heel in a clunky space boot kept me housebound, and I had to settle for these pictures taken through the windows instead.
