shall be as white as snow; though they
are red as crimson, they shall be like
wool." -- (Isaiah 1:18b)
Today was a day of much thanksgiving. Who would have thought that only six months after open heart surgery to replace my mitral valve I would be out trekking 2.36 miles through drifts of snow? Not I, but one step at a time, and with much prayer along the way, it happened.
The long road ahead |
Leaves pointing the way |
After several stumbles, I remembered my walking stick, and wished I had it with me so I could feel where invisible curbs started and ended. I was tempted to go back home, but the leaves all seemed to point in the opposite direction, so treading gingerly, I plodded on.
